I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I've just had an email about the payroll year end update being mandatory from Monday. Does this mean I won't be able to get in my program without installing it? Why do they keep making them mandatory?
I have just realised that I have submitted the final FPS for a client but forgot to submit an EPS for Month 12 to notify HMRC of SMP to be offset against the Month 12 PAYE payment. Do I need to wait until after 19th April 2016 and submit an EYU?
Why oh why do i keep receiving late payment notices regarding my FPS not being submitted on time? I have checked and they were done on the wednesday prior to the friday they were due. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have a payroll scheme with no employees for a P11d Benefit only. I do a nil eps each month. Do you still rund a year end submission ?
