Error code 94 after Windows 10 upgrade

SOLVED

The server and 2 workstations run Windows 10. Another 2 workstations run Windows 7 and Windows 8 respectively. After the Windows 10 update I get error 94 from the 2 older workstations. The new workstations work 100%.

We took all the steps in the Error code 94 bulletin (opening ports in the Firewall etc) on the workstations and the server. We disabled anti-virus and opened the firewalls completely. we re-installed Pervasive and Repaired Pastel Partner on the workstations. No joy.

    I have seen this a lot of times with our customers and I have a few suggestions for you.

    Re install pervasive on the server as an application. That should resolve the issue

    Thanks for this. It is indeed what eventually solved matters. Cannot understand why Pastel does not fix this problem.

    What also happened was that the Advanced Sharing Settings were changed by the Windows Update. And of course one does not think this will happen and only checks it as an absolute last resort.
