I need help with activating my Sage 50 2017. I have received an email after registering my product giving me a serial number but I see no where to put that serial number in. I click activate online and it says there was a problem and to call this number. I call that number, and is it just me or does customer service seem the worst when it comes to programs for students, that are also used for businesses. I saw a post where some representative said there isn't complimentary technical services with this program, really? Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for contacting us. Have you already contacted your instructor for assistance with the Sage 50—U.S. Student Edition activation? I'm not finding specific instructions for where to input the serial. It just says the opportunity presents itself during install.
Also review KB 15068 - Sage 50—U.S. Edition Educational Version FAQs notes from this include that:
Students may receive support for installation issues only at 1-866-747-3888. Complimentary technical support is not included with the Sage 50 student version.
Also that the Sage 50 Accounting — Student Version is only valid for 14 months from the date of registration. Data from other Sage 50 Accounting products cannot be opened with this download. The Student Version provided for download is for educational purposes only.Hope this helps,Erzsi
