After registering, make sure to download the Sage 50 software version that corresponds to your codes received in Step 2, see link: https://www.sage.com/ca/about-us/education

The 2016.2 download direct link is: https://cdn-dlm.esd.sage.com/Sage50CanadianEdition/14784/SA_20162CP1-EDU.exe and it downloads a file labelled SA_20162CP1-EDU

This should launch the Sage 50 install wizard.

If you're getting something else.. I wonder whether you're using a MAC (if so then you need a virtual Windows environment)? Sage 50 only installs onto Windows 7 with SP1, Windows 8 / 10 and newer.

thank you for the reply. I have staken those steps several times but there are no files to be found within that file and that is the issue. My instructions in the text are to open a file called SageData16 but it does not exist. I was told there was supposed to be a DVD or CD with the text book but there was not.

Oh I'm afraid that there would be no company data file named SageData16 within our sample company data in the install files of Sage 50. Normally, instructors have course sites with links to the files used for assignments or the text book comes with that content.

ls there is a DVD that was supposed to come with the text but didn't. This is the information I need that is on that DVD.

Is there anywhere i can purchase the DVD or download the files that are on it ?
