Hello Elizabeth Santana, do you have a firewall that could be blocking part of the download? If so, try steps 1-4 on this blog for Windows 10: Slow Performance or Crashing of Sage 50.  Here's the download link for the 2016.2 student version of Sage 50: http://cdn.dlm.na.sage.com/sage50canadianedition/8947/sa_20162cp1.exe that I copied from https://www.sage.com/ca/about-us/education. It downloads a file that is 316MB in size. If you're seeing a size less than this once the download is done, then it didn't fully download. I just downloaded it and launched the sa_20162cp1.exe file, which gave the install screen like normal so it should be working for you.

At the end of the install, there is a check box for creating the Sage 50 desktop shortcut, this should be checked off automatically. Are you sure the software isn't showing in your programs list within the start / apps menu? or in control panel > programs and features?
