I found this variable and it seems like it is a predefined variable. What does GXAFCY do? I am assuming it is pulling the current site, but what factor determines what the current site is?
Thanks,
Chris
Hello,
From what I can see in the global variable of GXAFCY, there is a formula within the variable to look at another global variable called GFCYDEF. This variable along with the process WWAGLOBDEF looks for the default site.
hope this helps.
do you know which module it is looking at for default site? im assuming you are talking about the sites tab in the function profile screen?
Correct, the process looks at all default sites per module (0-20) (FCYDEF) from the sites tab of the Function of the User Function profile.
I am using the ADC module, but there is no default site option for the ADC module. Where does it pull for that?
For ADC, There are different defaults for the different ADC Processes. Are you seeing it pull an incorrect Default site from what is shown on the Setup, Users, Function profile, Site tab?
Currently, I don't have a function profile on my profile so it has been defaulting to one site. I just need to know which module it is reading from. I am using the material picking ADC functionality.
i have everything set to a default site, but I am getting the wrong site returned. i did a infbox gxafcy and i got 110 returned when I have set all of my default sites to 120...
Hello,
If you use calculator and enter GFCYDEF(7) what is the reply?
GFCYDEF(7), should be referring to the STOCK line (6) on the Function profile > Sites tab.
