In Enterprise Management, we have two very valuable features that are frequently overlooked: Memos and Criteria. Let’s look at how you can utilize them.
Tired of entering the same Parameters every time you run a report or an inquiry? The Memo button can be used to save the setup values entered, simply by giving the memo a name.
1. Select your report and complete the Parameters grid.
2. Click Memo
3. Give the memo a Code
4. Click OK
5. This code will be available under Recall going forward.
6. When you next return to the report, click Recall.
7. Select your Memo code and click OK. The report parameters will be populated with the memo values that you saved.
If you had named the Memo “STD,” every time you open the report, the parameters would be populated without needing to click Recall.
You can create multiple Memo codes to capture different settings.
Memos can be used to capture Advanced Selection settings on Transaction Entry screens or on Inquiry screens Parameter selections including Criteria.
The Criteria button is used to access additional selection criteria with respect to the criteria entered in the inquiry header.
Be sure to always review the Criteria to ensure that you are including or excluding the appropriate transactions when you click Select.
Remember that Memo button on the Criteria screen can be used to save all those settings for future use and save you some time.
Let’s take another look at Criteria. This time head to the Average cost evol./movement inquiry found under Stock, Inquiries, Movements.

Don’t overlook the Memo and Criteria options the next time you are running reports or inquires!
