- There is no Sage X3 1099 update required for 2017!
- Why don't we have an update this year?
- There were some minor changes to 1099s for 2017, but these did not apply to those areas covered by Sage X3.
- Other Sage products may have patches, if they cover the 1099 areas with changes or have other required updates.
- To generate 2017 1099s, you must have installed the 2016 1099 update.

- Note: v11 and the Cloud were released with the 2016 1099 update installed.
- How to you know if the Sage X3 2016 1099 update is installed?
- In GEXBX9, there will be a 1099 box 12 for Interest.
- This was the lone Sage X3 1099 change for 2016.
