Just skip closing the PM module one month to get it in sync with GL. 

Keep in mind that each property can be closed individually in PM by selecting them using the "range" option during the close process.   You can check to see what month each property is closed through using the "range" selection.  If they are out of sync, just select the ones that need to be closed to get them all in sync.  You might have to do this multiple times in order to get them all in sync as some may be multiple months behind schedule.
