Has anybody had any success using the new delayed e-mail feature?

I have some employees that like to receive a printed voucher and some prefer e-mailed.  I would like to print the vouchers 2 days before payroll day so they can be mailed and received on payday, and then wait to e-mail the vouchers on payday.

It looks to me like this option is not supported without manually selecting which employees to print hard copies.
