Sage 300 CRE Software Notice PTUS 18-02 - US tax updates available

Software notice PTUS 18-02 was sent today to Sage 300 CRE customers who have the US Payroll module: 

Important: The IRS is working on withholding guidance related to the tax reform legislation enacted in December 2017. More information is available here: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-statement-withholding-for-2018. When the guidance is finalized, we will provide a new update, which may also include additional state tax changes.

Tax changes

The following state taxes will change effective January 1, 2018:

  • Illinois (ILSWH)
  • Kentucky (KYSWH)
  • Maryland (MDSWH)
  • South Carolina (SCSWH)

Note: If you already installed update 18.01 (which included the Social Security changes) and do not have employees who live or work in Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, or South Carolina, you do not need to install this update.

Note: In order to use the Payroll tax updates for 2018, you must be using Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate version 15.1 rev 2 update 7 or later.
