Software notice PTUS 18-01 was sent to customers today with the following information:

Tax changes

The following taxes will change effective January 1, 2018.

Note: The U.S. federal government has not finalized the federal income tax rates for 2018. More information is available from the IRS at: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-statement-withholding-for-2018. When the rates are finalized, we will provide a new Payroll tax update, which may also include additional state tax changes.

Federal tax change included in this update:

  • Social Security (SOC and SOC_E)

States tax changes included in this update:

  • Alaska (AKSUI)
  • California (CASDI and CASWH)
  • District of Columbia (DCSWH)
  • Hawaii (HITDI and HITDI_E)
  • Maine (MESWH)
  • Minnesota (MNSWH)
  • New Jersey (NJFLI, NJSDI, and NJSUI)
  • New York (NYSWH)
  • Pennsylvania (PASWH)
  • Rhode Island (RISDI and RISWH)

Local tax changes included in this update:

  • New York City (NYCR)
  • Yonkers (YONKR)

Note: In order to use the Payroll tax updates for 2018, you must be using Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate version 15.1 rev 2 update 7 or later.
