Important reminder! Version 20 will be the only version of Sage 100 Contractor for which we will provide payroll tax tables for year-end 2017. You must be using version 20 to install and use the 2017 year-end tax update.

Do not wait to upgrade! Because version 20 is a major software upgrade that involves migrating your data to a new platform, you should plan your upgrade now, well before the busy tax season.

What's new in this version

Here are some highlights of version 20.6:

• A variety of user-requested enhancements, including new aging reports, the ability to tab through grids, new buttons on the 3-5 Jobs screen that let you view related information without leaving the 3-5 Jobs screen, and more!

All these changes should improve your efficiency, but we think you’ll especially appreciate:
• • The ability to set records Inactive, which prevents you and other users from using them inadvertently in entries.
  • Refreshing (updating) a report that you are previewing to see the effect of processing changes in real time.
• New server management tools that you can use to create or delete SQL Server instances, and to move your companies to a different SQL Server instance.
• A more efficient log-in process, where the Company List window displays only companies to which you have access.
