No training no help

Hello anyone!

I am new to my company, but the person who's place I took did NOT train me or anyone else (on anything) on how to do returns on invoiced items.

The people haven't paid their invoice I just set up the Order and they received the products. But they were wrong.  I tried to do invoice returns, void invoices nothing seemed to work out. I also needed to print a Pick up ticket and that wouldn't work either.

I am so frustrated with this program!!!

If anyone wants to help please please do so!!!

    I am sorry you are having to learn our program. We do offer various tools to assist you with the Sage BusinessWorks program:

    • 24-hour access to our Knowledge Base at support.na.sage.com. You can also use Knowledge base articles: How to access Sage Knowledgebase (40434) and Knowledgebase search tips (39897)

      • Also in our Knowledge Base we have some tutorials on various subject matters. For more information on tutorials on our Knowledge Base, see Sage BusinessWorks Tutorials and videos (52031). You can also use the search word “video” to review all the videos we have in our Knowledge Base.
    • The help files within BusinessWorks – Use the Help of the How do I? options within the program. For more information on using Help File see Knowledge Base article How to access help files for Sage BusinessWorks (17386)

    • A current phone support agreement is required for phone or chat support. You must also be listed as a valid contact for your support agreement.
    • Training on Sage University (www.sageu.com) – there are 2 excellent courses relating to Inventory that I would recommend taking if you are new to the BusinessWorks Program. If you are on a GOLD support plan these classes are free, otherwise there is a fee for these classes
    • If you are looking for someone to come on site and give you in depth training on the program then we would recommend you work with your local reseller and schedule an appointment with them.       If you do not have a local reseller, then please email [email protected] – give them you name, email, Company Account # and a brief explanation on what you need assistance with, and they can suggest a reseller in your area.

    For the topics you listed above, you may want to see Knowledge Base articles How to use invoice returns, part returns, and voids (19087) and Can I print a pick ticket on a closed sales order? (56555) The pick ticket cam be printed by going to OE, Orders, Print Pick Ticket. The pick ticket is a guide to assist you in collecting inventory parts prior to shipping. The list includes space for you to enter the actual quantity pulled. Once the sales order has been closed and invoiced the pick ticket feature is no longer available.

    If the information above does not help and you still need assistance on your particular issue, then I would recommend calling 800-447-5700 or open a case on-line to get a support case open so we can get additional clarification on the issues you are having and what needs to be done to correct.
