Is your Aatrix tax forms update not completing or presenting an error?

The Aatrix automatic updates this year-end may take longer to complete, please allow time for them to finish. For 2017 year end (W2, 1099 & 1095 (ACA)) filings, Aatrix now requires 3 different Microsoft redistributables.  These files will be installed during automatic updates if they are not already installed. These required Microsoft C++ Redistributable files are:

  • 2012 update 4
  • 2013 update 5
  • 2017

If the Aatrix automatic update is unable to install these Microsoft files, you may receive an error message during the update or when opening a form.  Please work with your IT professional to get the Microsoft redistributables installed.

  • Why do we have to download this software for filing 1099's? We send ours by US Mail and don't want to file them on line. We only have about five to file. I'd really like to know why we just can't print them.... thanks.

    As like other software program, the Aatrix program has regular updates that get install through the Automatic updates.  So stay current with the program to run the tax reports, you need to run the automatic updates.  These updates are necessary to run the program whether you are just printing or efiling.
