I have a client on BW 2011 who is starting to get this error when doing Automatic Select Orders to Invoice.  Not sure what might have changed on his hardware (nothing of which I'm aware) but this has been cropping up more regularly recently.  I did uninstall and reinstall the client setup on this machine.

Can't tell if others are getting this, as this user is the only one who performs this function.

I haven't been able to find anything specific on the KB or elsewhere in the forum.  There was a similar posting, but it referred to BORLAND(something) which indicated an older version.

Thanks in advance

For issues relating to  the error you are receiving, I would recommend working directly with a customer support analyst by calling 800-447-5700.  You may have issues with your .bpl files or even your windows files.  For issues with the Sage Businessworks .bpl files, it may require a reinstall of the program. However, there are also concerns with you using an older version - v2011 - that is technically no longer supported so we are limited in troubleshooting using that version.

Thanks Coleen.  I mistyped - it's actually Sage BW 2012.  Would this be server or workstation?  I indicated I may have to do their upgrade (which isn't a bad thing), but I'm concerned if that will fix the problem.  I'm wondering if it isn't some sort of network issue because this specific user also has issues that his BW system date doesn't update properly if he's left his computer off for more than a couple of days.

User would shutdown computer on a Thursday and not come back until Monday.  BW date would come up as the previous Thursday date, not current Monday....

    Thanks,

    Mary

Mary- There could be issues on the workstation, especially since the customer is experiencing unusual activity with the Sage BusinessWorks Date and if they are the only ones getting the errors.  The Sage BusinessWorks Date should default to the computer's date.  The only times I have not seen it update properly is when the customer has had issues with their computer and/or they were not shutting down their computer at night and that date was not refreshing.  If you do update the network and this computer, I would recommend uninstall Sage BusinessWorks on this computer, then rerun the client setup.
