So having finally eliminated the most of the errors that we have been getting from BV I am stuck with one that I can't find the cause for so am asking if anyone has some ideas.

We are getting the following error

Execution Error: file "C:\Businessvision\BCBaseObj.lbr\BCEGADGET.gnt'

Error Code: 240, pc=0, call=1, seg=0

240 Object reference not valid

Most recently this occurred when I switched back into BV from another program and went to close the open inventory window.

We run Business Vision 2009 ver 7.34 with the custom pack.

We have just finished replacing all of the old network cable in the office which has fixed some of the errors we had in the past this is the only one that seems to be left.

Also has anyone tried the new BV 2010 and are there any new bugs to beware of.  We are thinking of upgrading to the new version over Christmas.
