I was given a download so that I could put Sage50 on my surface so that I can download my company information and work off my shared sage50. the download for 2018.1 will not work can you sent me another download

Can that be done onsite by a sage technician?
The error message, "There was an issue connecting to the service. Please check your Internet connection or try again later." means that the component that syncs your Sage 50 data to Office 365 (the Sage Data Exchange Adapter) is damaged. If you wish to handle this yourself, you will need to uninstall all Sage Data Exchange Adapters from your Programs and Features list, then run a repair on Sage 50, then reinstall any updates you have installed. It may sound like a simple fix, but you have to have the right version of the adapter to match your build of Sage installed cleanly in order for it to work. For this reason, I strongly advise to call in to support 866-747-3888 and choose Option 4 to get to the Office 365 support team.
