When I try to activate from my workstation I am told I only have ONE activation try left. What does this mean, Am I screwed if I use the last activation?

Trying to get year-end financials done before a big board meeting. Very frustrating not being able to activate. Can't believe how long this has been down.

If you are unable to access the manual activation screens to process a manual activation request due to the program automatically attempting online activation these steps may help.
What Sage Knowledgebase Article 10818 doesn't tell you is you have to be able to open the activation page without starting the activation process to follow the instructions. I've spent 2 days, 2 unproductive days trying to activate this software! So not acceptable!
Unfortunately upgrading the application creates a new set of data files replacing those of the previous installation, so currently this would not be a recommended option.
