Was just doing a new installation  of Sage 2018 on Windows 10 machine and kept getting this error.   (error 30 if trying to start statement designer and error 3 if trying to print financial statement)  Tried all the usual fixes and nothing worked.   Even had tech support get on.   

I had installed Office Pro 2016 but when I opened it an Office 365 popup would always come up at same time.   I went to Add/remove programs and removed something related to Office 365 but that popup would never go away.   

I eventually uninstalled 2016 and installed Office 2010.  When I started 2010 I noticed that it was actually Excel 2016 that was still opening.   Strange, because I thought I had deleted Office 365 demo already.   Did a bit more searching under Windows apps and found "microsoft office desktop apps".   Turns out that is actually what needed to be removed.   As soon as I removed it then FR started working correctly.  

Just putting this here in case anyone else finds it useful.
