Posting Payroll from an outside service

New to Sage, came from Quickbooks.

I am trying to post our payroll into Sage, but doing a journal entry will not show the cash withdrawals when I do my bank reconciliation. How do I post?

We have a product called Payroll Import. This will read a csv file from your payroll service and generate the appropriate GL and Bank entries. Let us know if you have questions.

Transaction flow in Sage goes from Bank to GL. It only goes one way. You will need to enter your payroll entry in Bank Services as a bank entry to see it in the bank reconciliation. From there it will flow through to the GL.
