A new Sage 100 install in a test environment does NOT produce this message.

Did you see KB# 21509? It reiterates David Speck's suggestion about the Links folder. It even states, "This issue is known caused by third-party modifications. Please contact your Third Party Developer directly. [great grammar]"

It does go on to say;
"In addition to checking "Links" folder, use the Library Master, Utilities menu, Data File Display and Maintenance utility to check for non-standard records in the SY_PopupItem.m4t data file (found in "..\MAS90\MAS_System"). Standard records typically begin with "0000000001" through "0000001733" and have nothing in the EnhancementCode$ field. Non-standard records may begin with a numerical key like "###0000001" (where ### is a number other than "000") and/or have a value in the EnhancementCode$ field. Consult the consult the Third-Party Developer for a possible resolution."

Thanks for the details. I have opened a case with Avalara, and we are working to clear up the error.
