How should kits be used when kits are assembled or packaged to order? If we explode items on SO, so individual components are removed from inventory we get very confusing packing lists and picking sheets that make it look like the kit, AND the individual components need to be shipped or received. Is there a way to remove individual components from inventory without it showing up on the Sales Order, Picking Sheet, Packing List, etc? Attached is an image of a confusing packing list.

I an open to being persuaded that the Bill of Materials Module would be preferable than kits in this situation, but it would be inconvenient at this time to purchase said module, and would like to get by with kits if possible. Still, if there are definite advantages for this type of activity when done through this module, I would appreciate any information on the subject.
