Hi,

Sage has generated a correction deduction and I think this might me where I deleted and readded sick pay period that related to the previous pay run. Is there a way to check what the correction deduction is for before I manually correct it?

    Hi Daz,

    Thanks for using Community Hub,

In regards to the correction there is not a way to see the exact reason as to why it is showing, however corrections are only created when a completed pay run has been edited or as you mentioned absence has been adjusted in some way.

The system will automatically try and get the extra money back in the next live pay run when it comes to an absence change as the change is applied automatically, if looking at the account you have paid the employee the correct amount of money you will be able to manually correct it.

I have provided the article on how to reverse a deduction correction just in case:
