Have Sage 50 2018, but my bookeeper seems to have a 2019 version and I can't open my files

SUGGESTED

I bought the 2018 version and I can't open my files.  My bookeeper has the sage 50 cloud version which seems to be the earliest version.  I can only access my files from his version.  I've tried downloading the trial version 2015 and its still not working.

What can I do?

For two or more computers to be able to open a Sage 50 CDN data set they all need to be using the same program version. Sage 50 Cloud will automatically update to the news version so at the same time the program you bought will have to be updated as well. If you are on an active support plan the update will automatically be downloaded and a message will show up when you close your Sage 50 to advise that an update is available to be installed. If you are not on a support program then you will have to purchase the newer version.

The newest version is 2019.0 and it is so new it probably isn't available at retail as yet. You may be able to get one by calling Sage sales and purchasing the support plan which will then give you all of the updates as they become available for a full year.

    Good morning

     is correct in stating that

    The newest version is 2019.0

If your bookkeeper did upgrade the file, one option is to look for a backup formatted for 2018 to reload and use (for which they'd have to be careful to always launch the 2018 version of Sage 50 to work with 2018 formatted files). This may mean re-entering work.

Think I found your account which shows a purchase date of Sept 22, 2018 for that 2018 product. If that's the case, then please contact our sales team at 1-888-261-9610, they may be able to refund / switch you over to 2019 which launched last week. - Also placed a note on the account about this asking them to contact you.

    Hope this helps!
