Access to credit card data stored in Sage Exchange Vault

1 minute read time.

Sage supports the ongoing protection of all our customer's data. One of the key ways we do this is by applying the PCI standards for data security, and requiring our partners to do the same. Recent changes to PCI standards have resulted in even stronger data security for personal and credit card information. In response to this, the application provider (Paya) that stores your credit card information has updated their systems to ensure that your data receives the highest levels of protection possible. Information about PCI compliance can be found at https://www.pcicomplianceguide.org/faq/

If you are using a Sage product that does not support the use of Sage Exchange Desktop (SED) 2.x, beginning June 25, 2018, you will not be able to access the credit card information that is stored in the Sage Exchange Vault.

Please verify you are using a supported version of your Sage product. If you are unsure if you are using a supported version, visit our knowledgebase to learn which versions are supported. If you are on a version that is not supported, your data is still safe and secure, but will not be accessible until you upgrade your Sage product to a version that is compatible with these new security requirements.
