I am thinking about upgrading from 2013 to 2015. Anyone already on this version? Comments? Upgrade now or wait awhile longer? Tips?
Thanks!

Actually the step by step installation instructions do say to install the service packs before migration.
That being said, the download website used to have that warning on it before you downloaded. I notice it is no longer there. Might be a good idea to get that warning back on the website.
A warning to download Product update 1 prior to migrating data has been added to the Sage 100 ERP 2015 download page.
Applause! Thanks Scott.
I'm an end-user/customer that prefers doing my own upgrades and BOI customizations. Just upgraded from 2014 to 2015 last night and am quite pleased. One of the smoothest upgrades in recent memory. (Been using MAS since 2003, v3.71 days)
I took special care to install the 2015 PU1 BEFORE migrating my data. (Thanks to the forum for that) I was impressed by how few VI jobs needed to be rebuilt and customized panels and lookups were updated perfectly. Still reviewing some Crystal report conversions, but so far, all I've checked have converted beautifully. Not sure if 2013 to 2015 would be just as smooth, but I suspect it would.
Some of the new features are really nice, nothing Earth shattering, just lots of little useability improvements.
Hrm. I just looked over my checklist "Upgrading from Version 2013 to Version 2015" PDF and it says nothing about installing Updates prior to Migration.
I'm not saying it isn't somewhere in the ~180 page document, but in the step-by-step, it's not there.
It may not be in the document, but I always installed the latest product update before migrating and converting data.
Installation and System Administration Guide version 2015 . Page 7 Post-Installation Tasks. Step 2.
so what do you do if you migrated before updating?? how can you fix the quick print issue..
Seems odd that quick print would get broken by not installing a PU first (but I've seen stranger things happen). Suspect we don't have all the details.
Not having access to the data/installation with the problem makes it rather difficult to offer general advice.
If you have already migrated, there is a Internal Utility to correct the problem. Please call support or open a support case online. After the support ticket has been created, email the SY_ReportOption.M4T file to [email protected] with the the following Subject line: "Ticket xxxxxxxxxx - DATAFIX" (where "xxxxxxxxxx" is the ticket number)
KB 58609 describes the process.
