Upon start, i get "File access denied"

SUGGESTED

When i click the OK, i get "Open an existing database".  When I click existing, I can browse to the data base and when i click that, same result. Other computer on office network works.

I got an error saying "Not able to create temp file.  May be invalid path, network rights limitation, disk or directory full.  I ran disk clean up and now upon start up I get File access denied.  What did I erase?  What can be done?

Sounds like a rights issue where you don't have adequate permissions to the location where the database is located.

Sounds like you do not have sufficient rights either to the database folder, or the folder Timeslips is trying to put your temporary files in. My guess is it is the temporary file location. Can you open the Sample database? Once in there, you can access the preferences options under Setup, Preferences and tell Timeslips where to put your temp files. I'd pick a location that you know you have full rights to. Ideally a folder setup just to hold Timeslips temp files. That way, if you ever need to delete them, you know where they are and that only Timeslips temp files are in that folder.
