Billing message

How do you change or add a message at the foot of each bill?

    Open the bill layout in question, navigate to the footers and edit away.  If you are using multiple bill layouts, you will need to edit each one.  If you are not familiar with editing bill layouts read up in the help and it never hurts to duplicate a layout and practice on the copy.

    Allen:  That does not help me.  I have a message in my bills.  I want to remove it and replace it with another.  I have opened the "bill layouts" multiple times, but don't see the message.  Is there anywhere else that can explain for why there is a message on my bill layouts?  If so, where, and how do I change it?

    Try going to setup - messages. The messages are setup there and assigned to the client on the layout tab

         If you go to the [Setup] tab in the task area and choose messages [Text For All Bills 1] and [Text For All Bills 2], these can be edited to add a message to the foot of each bill as desired.
