Billing Layout

I am trying to find a variable that would give a total balance due IF the customer owes money for a retainer replenishment.

example - Customer A owes $186.50 & needs to replenish $2,500 for Escrow.  So, they would get a total due of $2,686.50

Customer B owes no money, but only has $500 left in Escrow, so they would get a total due of $2000.00

Not sure if Timeslips can calculate off of the Baseline $2500 needs to be in escrow on each customer.

Yep, you just need to tell Timeslips what their minimum Funds balance needs to be in their Client Information, Funds area.  You can set a replenishment trigger amount and a replenish to amount.  In your case it sounds like it is $2,500 for both numbers.

Timeslips will do the calculation and add the replenish line for you on the bill.

    Hope this helps.

Hi. We are using Sage Timeslips 2014. I have a similar question...I wanted to know how I can put an Aged Balance Table for clients who need to replenish their retainer and have not done so. A very simple example would be that the set amount to replenish to is $2500 - the client is billed $1,500 on July and has not replenished to $2500 by September's billing period which would make the replenishment of $1500 late by 60 days...How do I show this on a table like the Aged Balance Table which shows up when an A/R has not been paid?

You can't. While the retainer replenishment is requested, it is not considered part of Accounts Receivable and will therefore not show on the Aged Balances.

Thank you, Caren. Is there a way though to just let the client know that the replenishment has been due 30, 60 or 120 days? We want the similar table of Aged Balances. I have been just manually adding the table. Is there a "command" or a faster, more efficient way to add that to the bill?

    No there is not.
You could setup custom messages and assign to the clients as needed. But can't do it automatically
