Can't enter payments - HELP!

SOLVED

Beginning today, for no apparent reason, I cannot enter a payment. Whenever I try, I can't see the window for the a/r transaction and I get a message:

If I try to create a payment, I see nothing, when I try do something else, it asks If I want to save the a/r transaction. If I click "yes" I get the following:

"The field [Value(unsigned)[ contains a value that is too low."

Additional Information: I'm running Timeslips 2015 on a Win7Pro machine, local installation.

Edit:  I did a Data Verification run and got 3 errors:

The data verification say you have clients with a custom field of closed that have invalid data. You can do a repair and let Timeslips fix it which usually means making the field blank. With tools consultants have we could identify the specific records easily so that you know which to fix.  You could also go through the customers to try to identify the problems and fix them.

Not convinced that is the problem with the data entry and sometimes when you fix some errors others appear.

You need to fix the error but I also think you should try going to setup - preferences - appearance/interface - restore all windows.

Let us know if that helps.

Do you have a long scroll bar at the bottom of the screen when you try to add a new transaction?

You may have inadvertently dragged the entry window so far off the screen that it is now out of sight.

As Caren has mentioned, going to Setup | Preferences | Interface/Appearance and clicking the "Restore all dialog settings to their defaults" button should bring it back if that is the case.  (Make sure all dialogs are closed when you do this.  The easiest way to do this is to just exit the program, then come back in and try the fix before you do anything else.)

The other errors are a different problem.  It relates to the Client Custom Date field named Closed on three of your clients.  We have seen some clients with issues related to custom date fields in 2015.  If you know which records, you can go in and fix them, but that would not be causing the inability to enter a transaction.

    Hope this helps.

Click on Window at the top of the screen.  If you see the window listed (likely with a check next to it), it would indicate it is off screen.  Click Cascade or Tile and you should see all of your open dialogs come back to the viewable area.  This should remain set this way, and not resetting all of the preferences may have less overall impact.

You're probably right about the errors, which I was able to repair using the Data Verification tools.

Turns out the payments were off screen as several others suggested.

Thanks to all who answered me!

Thanks! This is the most complete answer I received, though everyone has been helpful.
