How to have "Amount" print on bills

Hello.  When I print prebills, my columns include, but are not limited to, "Rate", "Hours", and "Amount".  However, when I print bills, the "Amount" column is blank.  How do I get the breakdown to print in the "Amount" column on bills?  I just can't figure it out!  Thank you.

Several things can affect the Amount column showing up.  You may be using a non-hourly fee arrangement, or your layout may not include a per slip amount.

I would start with looking there.  As a general rule, it is VERY difficult to hypothesize what is suppressing it without taking a quick look at your set up remotely.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you Nancy.  Somehow I have to figure out, in our layout, how to include it on the bills.  I had been using a "very" old version of Timeslips up until earlier this year, with no training on the old or new version.  I still struggle with figuring out how to work within the template to change things.  I wish some basic training would have been included with our upgrade.  I wll continue to see what I can figure out.  Thank you again.

While your desire to figure it out yourself is admirable you should consider the amount of time you are spending and the value of your time. A fairly short amount of time with one of us who are certified on Timeslips could probably show you how to fix the issue.

As it relates to training, what is the least expensive training someone can purchase?  We are a very small office with a limited budget, but we do need assistance.  I appreciate feedback.  Thank you.

I can't speak for other consultants but I charge in 6 minute increments. I would be happy to speak with you about my rates in a phone call or private email.

    My phone number is 203-254-7736.

I find that training sessions of thirty minutes to two hours make the best sense depending on the topics the firm needs to be trained on.  Unfortunately, training is often the overlooked component to a successful software implementation.  You are welcome to contact me via phone/email to discuss your needs.
