Moving from Timeslip 2008 to 2015

SOLVED

I am trying to restore data from 2008 to 2015 and having problems. Does anyone know what I have to do?

Well, you would have to convert it after you restored it.  Are you restoring a BKU (backup) file?

Can you provide more details about what and how you are restoring and any messages or errors you are getting?

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Nancy,

thanks for getting back to me. IT seems that I have restored the main database but I am having a problem with the remote database.

This is the error I am getting.

The database is a different format than expected. It may have been created with a different program. It cannot be used here.

    Area: Database

    Error Code: 5

    Class: tBDEDatabaseExceptionC

    Version: 23.0.2.187

If you can help that would be great.

    Regards,

    Don

Well, you probably need to create a new remote database for use with 2015.  The bigger concern for you is that Sage no longer sells or supports TSRemote.
