Contingency flat fee bill

Hello,

Is it possible to show the itemized charges on a contingency flat fee bill? For example, the client will not pay for fees or costs, but I want the bill layout to reflect the value of the time spent. Right now it shows the time spent (hours) and rate at which the attorney is billing. I would like the bill to look like an hourly bill without the bottom line totaling the charges. For example, I would like for it to look something like this:

(.1) $125.00hr.

             $12.50   $00.00

Is this possible?

Thanks!!!

Yes, just set it up as a Contingency Fee arrangement on the Client Information, Billing Arrangement 1 tab.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Nancy! It was already set up as contingency flat fee in the client information, however even looking at the design part, I cannot figure out where to add in the total. That probably doesn't makes sense....Is contingency flat fee only suppose to show hours and rate but not the value?

    Thanks again.

It should total the hours, but not show any dollar values. You shouldn't have to do anything to the layout for that to happen.  Just use your regular hourly layout.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks again. I understand that this is the way it looks and maybe that is just the way it should be. You can't put in a value and have the bottom line be zero? I am just being picky for the client so I can avoid the confusion when they get an informational bill.
