Can anyone me open Timeslips?

Hello,

I left another message earlier this morning and was anxious and frustrated about not being able to open Timeslips. I am running Windows 8.1 on a laptop and after installing mandatory updates, I cannot get into Timeslips. When I double-click the Timeslips icon, the program appears like it is going to load (the hourglass spins) then it stops. I do not even get an error message. Anyone know how to fix or what is causing this??? Thanks in advance.

    You don't say what version of Timeslips. Assuming it is a current version:

    Do you have TeamViewer running? If so exit that and then try again. If not, use task manager to make sure that timeslip.exe is not running in the background anywhere, then right click on the Timeslips icon and choose run as administrator. If neither of these work you will either have to call technical support or work with a certified consultant.

    Thank you Caren for you reply! It is version 2014. I think this is more of a problem than I am capable of. I tried all that you suggested and no results. I will call tech support and hopefully I didn't lose anything....
