I am running Version: 18.0.2.0515 of Timeslips 2010. When I open the program I get the following error:

Use the Repair Errors options in Data Verification to attempt a repair.

Address: Exception tBDEFieldExceptionC in module Timeslip.exe at 0093BB46.

Version: 18.0.2.0515

Field: Settings
BDE Code: 0

When I click on Data Verification the " Invalid class typecast" error pops up. When I run Data Verification I get the:

error again. If I try to exit the program I get the same error. The only way to get out of the program is to do Ctrl Alt Delete.

While the error is fairly simple to correct, it requires someone to have some special tools. My guess is that because of the error you cannot do a backup. Of course saying it is fairly simple is based on this being the only thing wrong. Sometimes there are other "hidden" issues.

Most of the Timeslips certified consultants that participate in this forum, like me, have experience in data repair and can work with you remotely.

If you currently work with a certified consultant, reach out to them. If not, reach out to one of us and we can get you back up and running smoothly.
