Editing approved bills

I have 4 bills that I approved that I need to go back and edit. They have not been sent to the client or court yet. I approved them, and my lawyer had some revisions she wanted to make and I did not realize it. How can I undo these bills to get them the way she wants them?

The short answer is that you can't go 4 bills back.  Only potentially one with the Undo feature.

The next questions are:  why were the bills approved if they were not mailed?  What sort of changes does the attorney want to make?  How important are those changes?

We can do lots of different things like exporting the slips and reimport them on another client, or duplicating them and redo the bills there, but all of that involves complexity, time and money.  Hence the questions about how important/necessary are the changes.

    Hope this helps.

They are 4 different bills for 4 different clients. She was behind some, so she just got to getting them edited for me to fix. I am thinking they are probably some time adjustments, and word errors.

Oh, and approving them was my error. I hadn't seen them again, so I assumed they had been sent out and approved them too soon.

We are all human and we all make mistakes.......try Nancy's suggestion Bills menu and then undo approved bills.  Look for the clients in the list and undo them if you are able to do so.  Make your corrections and consider leaving them in proof stage until the attorney OK's for approval.
