Timeslips 2011 I NEED TO MANUALLY ADD A PREVIOUS BALANCE

I need to add in my own Previous Balance. Long story short, I need to print a bill for a client that has a very old previous balance from a different attorney. The balance is just going to get transferred to us, so I do not have previous bills to show a previous balance. Is there a way just to add it?

yes, this can be done easily. Go into the AR transactions screen, as if you were entering a payment. Then change the transaction type to Invoice. Enter the amount due broken out by fees and costs.

Sure Jen456, just use an Invoice Accounts Receivables transaction.

This is the tool we use when we are bringing in a new attorney to the firm who is bringing their clients and balances due with them.
