TS2017 Billing Assistant - Deselect All and run Generate Prebill - all clients appear under 1st client as a massive prebill

TS2017.  In trying to address a problem regarding generating a bill through Billing Assistant, I ran into another problem.

1) Load Billing Assistant.
2) Deselect all so that the total in the Billing Assistant List is zero.
3) Click Pre-Bill Worksheet.

In my case, a prebill is generated  (no clients were selected) and the prebill is 338 pages long. 

- If I click Client Selection on the Report Entry: Prebill Worksheet it confirms that no clients are selected.  But when I hit Print (to display) the prebill runs and generates 338 pages.

- If I remove the Client Selection from the Report Entry filters and then add it back and select one or more clients I get a message that says the filter does not exclude any clients and runs the prebill with 338 pages

It appears that the client selection is not working as represented.

    I am unclear what you are trying to do. Are you trying to run Prebills? Why are you deselecting all? Why are you using Billing Assistant?

    1) I have used TS since about version 4. I was on version 2010 until 12/16. I have used primarily Billing Assistant for at least the last decade and the place to start when I want to run bills particularly if I am running more than one bill.

    2) I was using it this morning to generate about 4 bills, one of which was going to be a bill to client in which I wanted to hold all time charges just this month and send an expense only bill (that is the subject of a separate post on the forum). In trying to debug the unexpected results from holding time charges on a bill run involving 4 clients, I noticed that I could clear all selections and I was hoping that would "reset" the selection process - it did not. It did show zero estimates charges but when I hit either generate bill or generate prebill (again testing) it ran all bills even though none are selected.

    But ultimately, what had me using it this morning and testing different routes to the goal of running 4 bills was trying to figure out the unexpected result on deselecting all time charges on one client that was part of a batch of 4 bills to be run through Billing Assistant.

    The issue described is resolved in the latest service release update of Timeslips 2017.

    As I understand it, the latest update for Timeslips 2017 is August 2017.  It has been installed for several months.  The problem still exists.
