Finding an amount that is off from the actual bank account in funds

We just installed 2017 but the problem was before. Is there a way to run a report to find a missing amount that is throwing my Funds Balance is off. The balance in checkbook one day was off, but all transactions in and out for the past year match and are correct. Is there a way to search for it?

I actually have too much in timeslips by $185.

Not really, but you can "print" any of the Funds Reports to Excel and then search for the amount there.

My recommendation would be to run a report of balance by client in Timeslips and in your bookkeeping program. Once you narrow down by client you could look at that client. This will be more efficient since it might not be one amount. Other thing that is possible is that there is something that never cleared.
