History Bill

Hello,

Can a history bill be customized to look like an actual bill? Meaning can the fees and costs show the total hours and total for fees and costs show the total? I have looked into trying to configure the layout and I am stumped!

    Hi Amy,

    You don't mention which Timeslips version you are running but in my Timeslips 2015 I simply went to the options for that report and included totals for the data you are looking for.  Edit the History Bill layout if you need to add data fields like hours or rate to the history bill itself and use the options to turn on/off totals and the like.

    Thanks Allen, I have done everything I could possibly do, even tried to import the layout we use for our standard billing hoping that would make it look like I need it. I am using version 2014. I just cannot put my finger on why it is not showing fees total and costs total? I tried options and design and came up with nothing. I suppose I will continue to mess around with the layout....Thanks for your input!

    Amy, I took the time to look at TS 2014 and all I needed to do was select appropriate options on that report and use the out of box history bill layout to get separate totals for time and expenses as well as a grand total.  I am, unfortunately, not sure why this is not working for you and wish you luck resolving same.
