You usually find it under the OPTIONS button on the report you are trying to run, such as Prebill Worksheets or Generate Bills.

    Hope this helps.

If you think this suggestion was especially helpful, please consider rating it within the five star option, or clicking the green Yes button next to the "Did this answer your question?" option below.  Thanks.

I do not have that option.   Am I overlooking something?  - Judy

I have printed my bills for the month.  I checked off and approved the bills that were being mailed out and "cleared"  the bills on hold.  Now I would like to go back in and take all bills out of hold.

That's not making sense to me.

If the bill printed, it was not being held.

Are the slips being held?  Or the entire bill?

Have you run a Charges on Hold report?

Sorry, but I'm not following your question.

    Hope this helps.

ok, I'll try to explain.  I have an attorney who has me print all of her bills for the month.  She then reviews the bills and tells me which bills she wants to put on hold.  I manually go in and put each individual bill on hold.  I then print the bills again but do not include the bills on hold.  So now I have these bills on hold and do not want to have to go back in and  manually take them off hold.  To answer your questions, it is the entire bill that is being held.

Sounds like you have not put the slips on hold, you have put the clients on hold through the Arrangement tab of the Client Information. If this is the case then there are two ways to release

    1. Client by client

    2. Change on one client and export the change to others using the export button on the client information screen.

If you choose option 2 MAKE A BACKUP before you start as there is no way to fix it if you update fields you didn't intend to. Read the screens carefully and be very careful in your selections.

To make sure it is done properly, you might want a short training session with a certified consultant. Going through the process with you once would take less than a half hour and can easily be done remotely. You might also consider using a custom field to control who is getting billed or using proof stage as a "control" mechanism. Either of these could be discussed in a training session.

    Thank you.  Good advice.

JudyPM, You didn't mention which version of Timeslips you are using.  In later versions of Timeslips, you can mark the client for full bill hold right on the client list.  Look for the red H on the client list toolbar.
