Bill design issue

When I changed the font and did other edits on my bill design I lost the "In Reference To" describing the particular matter for each client.
Also used to get the invoice number automatically inserted and now I have no invoice number showing up.   How do I get back these two items into the bill?

Thanks!!!

Bill layout questions are tough to answer here because 1) the layout function has changed significantly over various versions (you did not specify which version you are using) and 2) it is the most intensely graphic portion of the software.

Sounds like you have somehow lost/suppressed your Project Header - First Page section of the bill.

As a GENERAL rule, you would locate the element you want to insert on the right and drag and drop it over onto the layout where you wish it to appear.

Beyond this, I cannot say.  Layout issues are usually handled most swiftly via a remote desktop session so that we can both be looking at it together.

    Hope this helps.

I am using Sage Timeslips 2014.  When I drag "Invoice Number" from the right hand field list, for some reason, "Number" is cut off and looks like "Numb."  I cannot expand the box in which the text sits.  When I delete that and copy the "In Reference To" section just above and paste that into the next line, and then type in "Invoice Number" the automatic numbering doesn't show up.  If I do NOT insert my own text (Invoice Number), then the only thing that appears is the number with no indication that it is the invoice number.  How can I fix the field list text for "Invoice Number" so that the whole phrase appears?

    Thanks!

It is two separate pieces.  The text token that is static and "announces" the data element (Invoice Number:), and the data token which is just the actual invoice number itself.

    Hope this helps.
