How to print two versions of the same invoice - one with the detailed explanation of charges, another one with only basic explanation?

SOLVED

I need to print two different versions of the same invoice. If I simply change the format and print the invoice, the  data drops to "0" as the system is considering it billed. The two different invoices have to be sent to the clients, one of which needs all the details of charges, and another one doesn't. Thank you!

    You may want to take a look at using the Cover Page option in your layout to be able to print both of those at once.  

    You can begin by reading about it in the Help section and trying your hand at it.  If you need help designing one, you could engage the services of a Certified Consultant.  Many of us frequent this board and provide this kind of expertise.

    That is what I'm struggling with: selecting/deselecting the appropriate boxes in the "Configure Layout Sections".

    I don't know which ones I need to use to get rid of descriptions and replace it with the task name, while keeping the hours. Instead, it just wipes out all descriptions and hours. :/

    It is hard to explain but easy to show. I think you are going to need to work with a certified consultant. You can reach out to any of us that frequent this board like Nancy or me. We can do a remote session. It should not take a lot of time unless there is an unknown issue.

    It won't involve turning on or off a section in Configure Layout Sections.  As you have seen, that will remove the entire section, and not just the specific line-item data you want to remove.

    You will need scroll down into the layout itself, into the Time Charges-Itemized section, and delete the field you want to remove.  In this case, it sounds like you will delete the Description item.  Replace it by going to the right hand column, under the Activity heading, and drag-and-drop the Nickname or Full Name as appropriate into that same location on the bill.
