Carol,

The KB has many articles on some of the more granular concepts within OE as well as the online help but I get the impression that what you are looking for is a much larger , overarching tutorial on how to set up Life events from the ground up.  The only place I've personally seen such documentation is in the booklets that are sent out with product training and I understand are not for redistribution. I think I would point you in one of two directions.

A. Consider reaching directly out to support. They may be able to fill in the pieces you are missing and possibly give you a walk through.

B. (I was going to write out option B but I need to pose a questions instead).

Did you ever do partner or customer training for ESS? If so you should already presumably have said documentation.

Hi John, I appreciate your thoughts on this. You and I have talked before and I know you are one of the best there at Sage. I have two outstanding open tickets with Sage on this. 1) I have been on the system a long time and the LE's have been setup a long time. I was given additional assistance this year but still have two open issues. One of my benefits calculated fine at OE, is fine in Sage HRMS if I add it manually, but isn't calculating correct when the employee enrolls thru the LE as a new hire. This ticket was supposed to be escalated. The last time I called the tech said no ticket number was even in the file. 2) the second ticket is that none of my LE's will update at all currently. I sent the error to Beth Whitchurch a few weeks ago, it appears to have to do with some benefit codes that we deleted. She suggested I clean up the Duplicate Key report and I did, but it still is not working. Any further assistance would be appreciated.

The absolute most important question to start of here is with the version.  

WHY; (you ask),  well this is because there is an array of "unique" behaviors that accompany each version that we (I) may have a workaround for. Ultimately if you are not on the most recent iteration of ESS and there are updates the behaviors you describe could be resolved.  Ultimately this may just be the type of thing YOU and I will need to go over directly but for the benefit of this forum let’s take this as deep as we can before I just have to connect in.
