Accounting task shutting down

Question

A couple questions regarding this..... 
 1) I set up a Notification on ACCBATCH1 but it only seems to work when we manually stop the task, not when it randomly shut down. Even though the server is still activated. Any ideas on how to get around this? 
 2) What are some causes of the Accounting task stopping? There was no server restart, etc. and the server is still activated. Trying to figure out what is triggering this. Thanks!

Hello, 
 Typically you would need to look at the accounting task log and the batch server log, to determine what has happened that caused the accounting task to be stopped. 
 For batch server log, you can go to Usage, Batch server, query management and click on Log 
 You can also look at the specific accounting task request log, by finding the request in query management, and click on log action. 
 Depends on what is listed in the log you can search for those errors in our KB. but take a look at below KB for some information. 
 How can I troubleshoot the batch server, journal status monitor, and accounting tasks?
