HyperV 2012 R2 SOFS implementation of X3 ( on Oracle database )

I have to process to X3 implementation on Hyper V 2012 R2 Storage Spaces ( SOFS )

Did some of you already did that ?

Does the Oracle support it ( I know Oracle is not a champion in Applicative Integrity ) ?

if a disk fail ( is it transparent for Oracle, no ? )

while swapping the vm from on host to the other .

Hi Christophe,

Have you done Microsoft's Storage Spaces before? I have, I am not a fan. I would read up on it before you go down this road. Every time you want to like it, another "gotcha" comes down the pipe and I don't like it again.

In fact, the Stackoverflow forums are probably a forum for you as it isn't really X3 related. I recommend you take a look over there.

Is there other answers ? Anybody installing X3 implementation on Hyper V 2012 R2 ? Any information about such installations ( success , problems, server brand , number of users, cpu, ram, disk , etc.... ) Any information will be appreciated .
