PU9 : Removing Standard menu item from submodule

SUGGESTED

Hi.

I was making some tests on my VM and I added a menu item for purchase orders (GESPOH) under Usage > Audit.

After that, I tried to remove it and for what it seems, the changes do not take effect.

If I go to edit the submodule and remove the menu item, I got this message :

Forbidden: The relation between menuBlock 'Audit' and menuItem 'Faturas' can't be unlinked because it's protected by SAGE

Both submodule and menu items must be protected, but not the link between the two (as you know GESPOH does not belong to Audit).

This is a mistake that can happen on a customer...how can I solve this?

Thank you in advance

    joaopaula,

Do you know what patch level you were on? Did you get this corrected?

I do know that there has been some development work in this area. I was not able to duplicate your scenario on PU9P4 so I suspect at this point this issue has already been corrected with a later patch than you were on at the time.

    Thanks,

    Hi!
I can't be sure what patch it was. I'm almost sure it wasn't below Patch 3, but most likely it's on Patch 4.

I must check it again then. All I needed to know is if there was some configuration on the user that had to be done.
I will try again on a new machine and I will get back with an answer.

Could it be related with the license?
