QTD Activity is a standard field in the Financial Statement Designer application. It is found at the very bottom of the list of available fields. Open your current Trial Balance design, double-click on a column to append or insert a new column, and scroll down to the very bottom of the list of fields and you will find "QTD Activity". This is documented in Knowledgebase Article 57095.

Thank you so much, that worked.  I didn't even think to design in Financial Statement Designer, I was trying in Report Designer because that is where I design most of my reports. I do have one more question, do you know how to change the margins for the header and footer.  I want the footer down lower.

The distance between the footer and the bottom of the page is controlled by your overall general report margin settings. If you have sufficient security permissions, from any application, go to Tools > Options and select the Report tab to adjust the bottom margin. Please note that his setting applies to all users for all reports that do not have a specific margin specified within the report design.
