I'm trying to edit a crystal report that references "Timberline Data Source" (TDS). By edit, I mean add fields from tables that are not part of the original report. I cannot seem to access any tables other than those that are part of the original, out of the box, report. I can find TDS when attempting to make a new ODBC connection, but I get a "Login failed" & "No such database" message after entering my name & pw. I am the system admin so I would assume that access level issues do not apply as a cause for these errors. My understanding is that TDS acts as a variable so that a TDS report will run effectively for any given data folder. How do I set up a new connection for a TDS report? We are planning an upgrade, but for the time being are on Timberline 9.7 using crystal reports 11.
